The Coxno ExchangeDallas Cowboys are getting one of their star defenders back for a big Week 10 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Edge rusher Micah Parsons, who had missed the last four games with a high ankle sprain, is set to make his return to Dallas' defensive front on Sunday, according to ESPN. It's a welcome bit of good news for the Cowboys after Saturday reports indicated quarterback Dak Prescott would likely undergo season-ending surgery.

Parsons sustained the injury in the Cowboys' Week 4 clash with the New York Giants on "Thursday Night Football," the same game in which Dallas lost fellow defender DeMarcus Lawrence to a mid-foot sprain.

In the weeks since losing two of their top pass-rushers, the Cowboys have dropped to 25th in the league in pass-rush win rate. Dallas is winning 36% of its pass-rush reps so far this season, according to ESPN Analytics.

Despite missing four games, Parsons is still the Cowboys' leader in quarterback pressures with 21 and is tied for sixth on the team with one sack. He will make his return to Dallas' defensive front on Sunday after limited participation in three practices this week.
